In continued preparation for our Yosemite trip, Jason and I are going on hikes on Sundays instead of just regular walks around town. We’re fortunate enough to live just outside of the Southern Unit of the Kettle Moraine State Forest. We have plenty of trails to explore.
Clearly, I’m a week behind in getting these pictures uploaded. Thanks to today’s rain, it works out nicely! Last Sunday (April 18), Jason and I hiked the Bald Bluff Nature Trail. This trail lies along a portion of the Ice Age Trail, so we continued along that trail for more distance. It was a gorgeous day, and it was interesting to be hiking the trail shortly after a burn. It made for some cool scenery.
This was also the first official hike in my new shoes. They were fabulous!
