For most people, camping brings to mind visions of sleeping on the hard ground. Not for me! I don’t think there is any way I would camp without an air mattress. In fact, even my more rugged husband won’t camp without one.
Last summer, Jason and I had to invest in a new air mattress. We decided to go with a ”double-high.” It both looks and feels like a real bed.
I recommend using regular bedding. It’s comfortable, makes it easy to add or remove blanket layers, and again keeps it looking like a real bed. We dress ours with fitted and flat sheets, a fleece blanket (one or two depending on the temperature), and a comforter.
If you truly want to sleep in comfort when you camp, an air mattress is a must!
