Sunday Hike: Ice Age Trail (Lake LaGrange)

May 30, 2010

It is crazy hot in Wisconsin today. We hit the trail a little earlier and must continue to as temperatures rise.

Today, Jason, Bailey, and I hiked another portion of the Ice Age Trail, this one near Lake LaGrange. Unlike our other hikes where the bulk of the trails have been in forested surroundings, this trail wound through a lot of open space. Not so good today…

We live just beyond that ridge…

Majestic Lake LaGrange.

I got my first lesson in hunting for asparagus.

Water break!

I should mention that Jason, Bailey, and I had another hiking companion: Buddy Bison. This was my Buddy Bison’s first official excursion. He was very excited!
