Jason and I have been notoriously bad about eating out lately. It got to a point where Gus’ Pizza Palace knew Jason’s order by heart. Not good.
We tried going cold turkey, but it only made the cravings worse. So we had to come up with a plan.
The Plan: Become regular Friday Fish Friers, like all good Wisconsin folk

Jason and I started our tour of Southeastern Wisconsin fish fries with the pinnacle of fish fries in the area: The Moose Creek Bar & Grill.
The inside of Moose Creek is very “north woods,” complete with log-style walls, stone fireplace, and mounted moose. Actually, we had our wedding rehearsal dinner here two years ago. It’s kind of funny how “outdoorsy” our wedding was, come to think of it…

As far as we’re concerned, Moose Creek has the best fish fry in the Whitewater area. Tonight, I had their broiled cod for the first time – Amazing! It was a substantial cod fillet and extremely flavorful. While I love their fried cod, I will have no problem opting for the slightly healthier broiled fish.
It’s all you can eat, too!
The Garden Is Flourishing!
I have tomatoes popping up in my garden! Woo hoo!
I realized that I haven’t taken any progress pics of my garden since before Yosemite – i.e. since I planted it. Here’s the difference:

I hope these fare better than the ones last summer did. I would really like some fresh tomatoes straight from the garden this year.
