Our second full day, we woke up to very strong winds. We decided to make it a pretty relaxed day. I went for my run, we made breakfast at camp (luckily), took a short 1 mile hike, cruised around the peninsula, and grabbed yummy pizza for dinner.
Our wind barrier so our breakfast fire would keep burning.
Reading Gloryland by Shelton Johnson. Clearly, I’m very into it.
The wind was blowing strong all morning.
There was some major wave action.
Bailey and I enjoying our one mile hike along the Trail Trampers Delight.
Snack time on our hike.
Bailey needed her picture taken by the Baileys Harbor sign 🙂
Another visit to Cave Point County Park. (We visited the park on our first camping trip in 2008.)
We were expecting awesome waves at Cave Point, but the wind had died down by that point in the day. Figures.
Of course, Buddy Bison needed to add to his collection of parks visited 🙂
Bailey trying to get some of our Wild Tomato pizza. She scored some crust – nothing more.
