Sunday Hike: Ice Age Trail Near Lone Tree Bluff

May 22, 2011

After several weeks, Jason and I got back out to the trails today. We hit another portion of the Ice Age Trail, starting a mile or so from the Whitewater Lake area and hiking away from it.

It was a beyond beautiful day. Thanks to a strong breeze, the heat wasn’t unbearable. It was a great morning to be outside.

Hiking = Camera Practice!

Stairs. Oh, how I love those.

After a good hike, we headed home and I did almost all of my planting for the season. Herbs, hanging baskets, and a couple assorted flowers. All that remains are two tomato plants. I’m hoping for a successful growing season.

Stairs? Did someone say stairs?! I <3 stairs!! *shudder*

I like that last photo. Reminds me of the 'road less traveled' types of photos. Serene and green.
