2012 Western Road Trip: Rainy Days in a National Park

4 Flares 4 Flares ×

During our three days in Grand Teton National Park last spring, it rained every day. There were a few breaks in the rain, and those brief breaks taught us something that we will never forget: a rainy day in one of America’s most beautiful places is an amazing thing.

All of these pictures were taken on our final evening in the park. We could not believe our eyes, it was so beautiful. And once again, these pictures don’t even do it justice. It was an amazing way to end our trip.

Or at least it was amazing until we woke up the next morning to this…

There are no words for how beautiful Grand Teton is.

Overall, we really enjoyed our trip to Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks, and we will definitely travel back out there again (at least we will after several years have passed and the memory of the LONG drive home is erased).
